ABOUT THIS COMMITTEE

Schools just started at Northshore High, but all anyone can think about is who the prom royal will be. At some schools, students are expected to study and learn as much as possible. At Northshore High, it seems as though the only thing you’re being graded on is popularity. In a school where everyone is trying to end up on top, delegates are going to have to win over voters while making sure they don’t make any fake friends along the way.

CRISIS DIRECTOR

Ian Love

Ian Love is a senior majoring in political science and minoring in international and global studies. He is from South Jersey, which is objectively better than North Jersey. On campus, he works as a lifeguard and previously served as the crisis director for Checkpoint Charlie at RUAIR’s joint drill. Outside of campus, he loves starting arguments on social media, taking care of his plants, and clicking through Wikipedia articles. In the summer, he likes to visit Wildwood to go on the beach and walk the boardwalk. He currently has over 1,000 hours on HOI4 since downloading the game in June 2025, which means he has extraordinary time management skills and is a committed student. SENIOR CHAIR

David Kershner

David Kershner is a sophomore at Rutgers University from Williamstown, New Jersey. He is double-majoring in Political Science and Cinema Studies. He joined RUAIR as a freshman last year, currently serves as our Deputy Director of Communications and USG of External Affairs, and couldn’t be more excited to be your senior chair for Mean Girls! In his free time, you can always catch David outside in nature, whether that be going for a run, bike ride, or out on the Voorhees Mall at 2 o’clock in the morning, or boarding a last-minute flight traveling to a new destination with his friends. David’s always down to grab a coffee and chat about the newest development in global politics, or something more lighthearted, such as why “The Devil Wears Prada” is the greatest film ever made.
